Friday Fabric Fix – Leaves and Jewel Tones

What are Jewel Tones?

Jewel tones are rich color tones which resemble well known gemstones, either precious or semi-precious. Typically, jewel tones have a high level of color saturation, which makes them very dynamic and distinctive.

This week we wanted to mix both warm and cool colors for this rich, jewel toned combination. The leaf pattern is very fitting for fall, however, with the light and fresh stripe, this could easily be transitioned to Spring.

How would you transition to Spring with that stripe? Well, you could have just a few pillows made in the leave fabric and switch out the pillows. At Chameleon, we specialize in designing reversible pillows so you don’t have to switch out your pillows. Changing is easy with our reversible velcro “OBI” wraps and our button-on pillow flaps.

Here’s a fabric that would transition easily to Spring:

Just by adding a brighter and more crisp floral to the mix, the stripe takes on a whole new look.  This stripe could easily transition through all the seasons.
