One of my favorite showrooms is always the PK Lifestyles. They are the manufacturers of Waverly, Iman Home, Dena Home, HGTV Home and Tommy Bahama Fabrics. This season they selected fabrics from Waverly and they were nothing less than show-stoppers.
Of course traditional neutrals are still hugely important. Keystone Weaving Mills produces textiles made in the USA!!!
What could be more wonderful than in the chill of winter to see the most luscious and glorious colors introduced in fabrics presented at the North Carolina High Point Showtime Fabric Show!
Nothing says America more than Red White and Blue and in home fashion, Blue (true blue as I would call it) is definitely back.
One of my favorite stores is Calico Corners even though they are our “competitor”. During the recession they switched to a central inventory distribution rather than carrying stocked fabrics in their stores.
At the June 2013 Highpoint Showtime Fabric Show, Portfolio launched the Sarah Richardson (of HGTV’s Sarah’s House) fabric collection and she was there to mingle. I got a chance to sit and chat with her.
Twice a year furniture manufacturers (us), designers (us) and retail fabric stores (us) gather in Highpoint, North Carolina to see the new fabric introductions in the industry.
My Mom will be 100 years old in June.
